Chemung County deputy sheriffs receive AEC support

May 1, 2009 – Anschutz Exploration Corporation is lending a hand to help the Chemung County Deputy Sheriffs Association this year.

The natural resources company is supporting the Association’s 2009 Benefit Campaign, which enables officers to assist in various public service activities and to sponsor many local youth-oriented and community programs such as Sheriff’s Summer Camp, Strong Kids/Safe Kids, Bicycle Safety and the McGruff Program. Contributions also support the Association’s general fund.

According to the Chemung County Deputy Sheriffs Association, “it is our belief and desire that projects such as these establish a better relationship between our organization and the public while enhancing the image of our members within the community.”
