AEC supports City of Corning police association

Dec. 15, 2009 – As part of its commitment to help local communities, Anschutz Exploration Corporation has made a donation to The Crystal City Police Benevolent Association of Corning, N.Y.

The Crystal City PBA holds an Annual Benefit Campaign to raise money for the Corning Police Department's community service efforts. Officers' programs and activities include granting law enforcement scholarships, holding fun runs and walks to support various good causes, and sponsoring local sports programs.  The campaign also provides money for the PBA General Fund and for a Law Enforcement and Safety Publication.

The donation is AEC's third this year to support law enforcement, safety and community service in the Southern Tier. Earlier this year, AEC contributed to the Chemung County Deputy Sheriffs Association and to the Horseheads Police Benevolent Association.
